Wal Mart takes GREAT care of Betta fish!
I’m not even joking. This Wal Mart must love their fish. =) They completely reconstructed the fish aisle, and apparently there was this really nice betta-freak employee who’d supposedly set this whole thing up. See, there are nice people on this planet. =)

this walmart must be the exception. Iv’e never seen this set up and I go to most of them in the Central Florida area (orlando, altamonte sprgs, deltona etc.) What you usually find at your local walmart is Dead and dying betta fish in their cups full of filthy water. If you mention it to the employees, they look at you like you have a third eye.

Sigh. People who are ranting about this Wal-mart still taking bad care of their fish need to take a moment and compare it to the cup-sized ‘homes’ betta fish are usually kept in at Wal-mart. Yes, it’s bad, but it’s most certainly better.

in the u.k,our version of pets co is called pets at home,,the bettas are kept in similar conditions to this bt with gravel and a few plants.i rescued a male and femail betta which looked in pritty bad shape,they look great now in there big tank,really colourfull and bright..

Even bettas I was surprised however the area the walmart is in is gross and there are lots of people (mexicans) there but hey, I HATE walmart!

Im buying my niece a betta fish for her 6th birthday, Originally I got her 2 goldfish but they both died within a day so I told her I would get a better fish…or should I say Betta fish

hey you know what? i saw a video and it warmed my heart. at wal-mart this guy found a fish in a beautiful betta fish in a dirty old cup. he wouldent eat anything he wouldent swim, but soon enough he was happily swimming in a perfectly filtered tank, and always seemed to love his owner.
