Here it is people, the fish that has everyone talkin this past week. The KING betta fish from Petco. These fish were at LIMITED sale, my Petco had only 5 in stock so I took 2 home for $30. I kept hearing rumors of Petco selling Giants so I took a fast trip there and there it was…It was sittin on top of the betta shelves with a sign "KING BETTAS!". I jumped for joy and grabed 2 of the biggest, most beautiful and strongest Giants there. These are 100% Plakats, not a new breed…it is …

These bettas arent …
These bettas arent good at fighting. Can’t beat regular plakats but they are hard to break down since their scales are soo big. if your plakat is good it should win in about an hour if not then more.

Ram has 5 incher giants I believe…
But I suppose Neon tetras could be kept with female bettas…jus test it out and see what happens, if u see nipped fins then remove….if not then keep monitoring until u believe its safe

King bettas are …
King bettas are definitly “plakats” but there are bettas called “Giants” that are NOT plakats, there a different fin type in itsself, Me and my fiance are local betta breeders and have bred all different types. The giants do grow 3-5inches as the plakats, “king” grow to about 3″ tops. nice looking bettas tho!!

another way to get it at a cheap price is switch the lids….but this only works with halfmoons…
Jus switch the lid of a halfmoon with a veiltail and you’ll jus pay $2.99 lol

Check ur bettas …
Check ur bettas belly for the eggspot (a white egg looking substance protruding from tha belly)
or look at ur ventral fins, if they are quite small then its a female, if they appear quite big then its a male…<—this is not 100% acurate info but sumtimes works.

bettas dying frum breeding is normal in sum cases.
Breeding takes a lot of energy out of bettas and the aggresiveness in them could also lead to death as they get weak frum breeding.
