How often do male betta fish make bubbles at the top of their tank?
I am going to breed betta fish. My male betta fish has already started making a bubble nest. I want to breed my fish in a couple of months. During those months I will have to clean my males fish tank. So that means that his bubble nest will be gone. Will my male betta fish remake his bubble nest?? And how often do they make bubble nests in their life??
Frequency of nest building depends on the individual.
Properly conditioning the pair should be enough to cause him to build a nest. Adding the female to the tank in a hurricane lamp keeps her safe from the male, and allows him to see her. You should also raise the temperature of your water to 82F. Nest building is often prompted by a water change.

don't even think of touching the water….because if you do it will take another 2-3 months for you to breed them…..but a bubble nest doesn't always indicates that they are ready to reproduce…..it does means your male betta fish is ready…..but you should check their sexual pattern before coming to a conclusion..in most of the cases a bubble nest is made to attract the female….and with a female around you will see more bubbles popping up in days to come…….

Yes, your betta will make a new bubble nest (whether or not you remove the old one).
How often do they make bubble nests? As often as they want to. Some male bettas will do it more or less constantly, while others just do it once in a while. Females have also been known to make them, but that's fairly rare.
