National Fish Pharmaceutical has one put hard to dissolve meds in frozen food, smish around then refreeze – helps the med to somehow be absorbed or attached…. I used chemicals in art and would never advise acetone – extremely toxic. Thanks for sharing….it’s all a lerning curve and one person’s work is to the advantage of all. Sherry

Well, now I know that the problem is a bit more complicated, but yes – in general you’re right. Acetone was one of harmfull factors, but also one of flubenol ingredients causes in fish increased inhalation of every stuff dissolved in water.. That show-tank had large bio-load.
They should not be cured in such tank!
Now, after a year I know a bit more about it..

Yes I did.. as one may read in “about description”. Flubenol is a good dewormer, but I shold use it in bare bottom tank. However every fish recovered and are ok.

Fortunately, all fish recovered in quarantine tank. This progressed a few months with frequent water changes, but all fish are alive.

thats terrible . i would do 50% water changes for at least a week. It is alot better never to put chemicals into the water. there is some wormer that Chensdiscus sells that is very good you put it into the food it works better than flubonel. I hope your fish recover. Your Discus will need tons of fresh water to get rid of there burns from the flubonel .
