Tropical Aquarium including Plec
My Sailfin Plec enjoying a piece of blanched broccoli. He’s about 9 inches long now. The aquarium is 180L and I have various Tetras (Bleeding Heart, Neon, Glowlight, Head & tail light and Columbian), guppies, a red tailed black shark, a gold gourami, marbled hatchet fish, cherry barbs, scizzortail rasboras, corydoras and gold sucking loaches, oh and lots of Apple Snails. Its been set up for 4 years now.

its a piece of broccoli, I pop it in boiling water for 1 minute then squeeze slightly to remove excess water and drop it in the tank. The Plec and the apple snails munch on it. You hav to remove it the next day or it makes the water smell bad! I give them a piece once a week maybe, they get different sorts of algae wafers the other days.
