This is my 2ft tropical aquarium. The following livestock: apistogramma cacatuoides red, Endlers Guppy (Poecilia reticulata), Pygmy Corys, Glowlight Danio, Rasbora Hengeli, Forktail Rainbow Fish, Japanese Marsh or Grass Shrimps (Caridina japonica), Asian Filter Shrimp/Bamboo Shrimp/Wood Shrimp/Fan Shrimp (Atyopsis moluccensis) and Manderin Orange Shrimp.
I bought 1 male and … I bought 1 male and 2 females as my tank wouldn’t support more females. They have cover, plants and a few ‘caves’ under the bog wood. They all behave very well and use the tertas etc as to grow confidence. I have not seen any bullying (and the tank is on my desk). Hope that helps.
How do you find the … How do you find the apistogramma with the other fish in the tank? Are they quite cichlid-y or are they quite placid? I saw a few of them in my LFS the other day and was tempted but I just managed to get rid of a terrorising Kribensis so don’t want another!
