Ive got a standard … Ive got a standard under gravel filter…out of direct sunlight so not much algea grows,live plants and i change 10% of the water every 2 weeks…thats it….if your tank gets dirty quickly,try using natural rain water from a clean souce(not stagnent stuff that has larvee in it),just put a bucket under your guttering and collect some of natures finest….dont need to add any purifiers!
