2008-10-13 Soft and Stony Coral Saltwater Aquarium


Inside tank video of my 55 gallon marine reef aquarium, inside are: Star and Button Polyps, Crocea Clam, Branching Green Tip Pink Hammer/Anchor Coral (euphyllia ancora), White Tip Tan Torch Coral (euphyllia glabrescens), Pink Tip Tan and Green Frogspawn (euphyllia paradivisa), Toad Stool Leather Coral (sarcophyton), Alveopora Corals, and a pulsing Xenia Elongate. Also a False Percula Clown (ocelaris fish), Banded Coral Shrimp, Red legged hermits, Leaf Fish, Purple star sea urchin, and some barnicales in the middle of the Torch Coral. Water is kept at a cool and comfortable 77 degrees Fahrenheit, lighting is still a low 160 total watts of t8 bulbs. Protein Skimmer is the primary filtration method, i keep my sump filter bag full and overflowing with a rufugium like setup growing a branching algae in the sump tank.
