Betta fish blowing bubbles!
My Male Betta has passed away. If you want to leave some info with comments feel free too it might help people out who want to breed them.
My Male Betta was making a bubble nest after seeing the female, I put them in together, they seemed ready to mate, the female had her eggs, but they weren’t, while he was blowing the bubbles she was destroying the nest. I removed her 5 minutes after I stopped filming and I put them in their own 10 gallon tanks.

My betta fish is a Crowntail. if you are wondering the different kinds of betta fish there is halfmoon, Crowntail, and king betta ( if i am mistaken or missing any please tell me)

when choosing a beta fish at the store you should choose one that basically looks healthy. . . here is a site i found to help choose a healthy one:

when it comes to decoration it is usually best to have live plants, that i will get soon, and something to explore.
the long seaweed looking plants that my beta was sleeping in are very cool and my fish seems to love it. I am not sure if beta fish like currents or not because my fish usually stays to the right of the tank away from the filters current but sometimes it goes in the big plant and just lets the current push it against the (leaves?)
putting other fish in with your beta is not always a bad idea they can stand other small fish like tetras.
Stay away from putting fish in with betas that are brightly colored, have big wavy fins, or thats another beta even sometimes females. It depends on whether your beta is just mean or doesn’t mind other fish with it.

Culligan the Betta Fish Builds His First Bubble Nest
Today is exactly one week since Culligan was put into his 5 gallon tank. I’ve had him for almost two week total time.

I never though I’d see him build a bubble nest because I have read that many people’s bettas build their nest after only a couple days in their new home. And his tank has a filter that creates a gentle current at the surface so I thought the bubbles wouldn’t stick. Well, Culligan was smart and built it in a corner behind the intake pump that is undisturbed by any current. 
The only thing I can think of that I did differently was that yesterday I fed him half a peeled, boiled pea.
Sorry the video is kinda bad quality. I just woke up and have final exams like in 2 hours so I shot and uploaded this video very quickly, haha.
