I also tried some … I also tried some other plants, but these, especially the vallisneria, are the best. They also grow by low temperatures (~14°C) and are not going to be eat by my fish.

I never had … I never had problems with a dirty tank, so I never had problems to keep it clean. But I have much more than one single plant, maybe that’s the answer?!
Keeping plants in fishtanks is like keeping plants in the garden or in a plant pot. They need good water, light, the right gravel and maybe some fertilizer.
lol ohh how obvious … lol ohh how obvious. i like the set up of your tank. how do you manage to keep it clean with all those plants? i got one plant and i keep seeing dead roots flying around
